Army OWA Email Login

Access the Army’s OWA E-mail system

READ This FIRST!

If you try and access this website from Crome, Firefox, Or internet explorer you may receive a “Certificate Error“, “Site Not Secure Error” or “Connection not private Error“. This is because many Department of Defense websites “self secure” their sites with military security which is not recognized by your browser.
If you receive this error you can safely continue past this warning to access the website.

If you are using firefox as your Browser I recommend you switch to Chrome or Internet Explorer.

To access Army OWA Email follow the below steps:
  1. Have you CAC card and CAC reader. (sometimes it works best if the CAC card and reader is already plugged-in prior to accessing the website)
  2. Army OWA Webmail can be accessed here: https://web.mail.mil/owa/
  3. If you receive a “Certificate error”, ” Security Error” or “site not secure error” you can safely bypass this and continue to OWA mail.

If you are still having issues accessing the Army’s OWA email system first try the following steps:
1) Switch browsers to Microsoft Explorer, Firefox or Chrome
2) Clear our cookies and history from your browser

    Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from web.mail.mil (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
    NET::ERR_CERT_REVOKED
To get Chrome’s highest level of security, turn on enhanced protection
web.mail.mil normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to web.mail.mil this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be web.mail.mil, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit web.mail.mil right now because its certificate has been revoked. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work late

I have tried Chrome, Internet explorer and Microsoft Edge and continue to get web.mail.mil uses encryption to protect your information. I have cleared all history and cookies. I used to be able to click on “advanced” and then click on “go to site anyway”, however the “advanced” no longer gives me any option to continue.

    Any suggestions?

I am still having the same issue even after clearing browser history and cookies. The error message matches the comment from June 17, 2021.

I THINK I found a solution, if you keep getting the “cert Revoked” error on your personal computer, you need to redownload the Certs. Go to this site : https://militarycac.com/dodcerts.htm and follow the steps. I was able to get on the military email, JKO, and ALMS SO FAR on google chrome. I have yet to try the other browsers. Hopes this helps!!!
